College is very different from school in that there is more independence and I feel that it helps people get ready for the real world. The facilities like The Hex are also features which helped make my decision to come to college.
Think where you want to be in “x” many years and then you can tailor your Apprenticeship to not only support your current role, but also to prepare you for later challenges and opportunities in your career. It’s a fantastic opportunity, go for it!
My biggest accomplishment so far has been passing the tests that come with the theory side of my course.
When working at Haven, not a day goes by where I don’t put the skills College taught me to use. I have my tutors to thank for believing in me and helping me achieve the position I’m in today.
LMC prepared me to go out into the workplace. The tutors gave me a great insight into the hospitality industry, as well as teaching me the key skills that I needed, and I’m very grateful for that. LMC has the tools & knowledge to set you up on your journey to becoming a young chef so I would say, go for it!
