Visiting Schools
The School Liaison Co-ordinator can come and visit your school to deliver a wide range of sessions to ensure pupils are familiar with what is available to them in order to help them succeed.
An Introduction to LMC
A short presentation suitable for assemblies or during class giving all pupils an overview of what Lancaster & Morecambe College can offer. This can be extended into a workshop session which can include more in-depth information about courses, entry requirements, student life and support available to students. It can also provide pupils with the opportunity to have all their questions answered and receive advice on completing application forms and the interview process.
Careers Events, Options and Parents Evenings
Lancaster & Morecambe College are happy to support your school by attending these events and offering information, advice and guidance to pupils and their parents.
Specialist Subject Area Talks
A subject tutor can visit your school to run a session discussing a particular subject area including specific course content, enrichment activities, career opportunities and progression routes. This can include an interactive workshop.
Provision for Careers Teachers
The introduction of the Quality Standards for Young People’s Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) supports the development of consistently high quality and impartial IAG services. Our School Liaison Co-ordinator is available to provide support in this area including professional updates and application tracking to encourage ‘joined up’ partnership working.

College Tours
Small groups or individuals are welcome to visit LMC and take a tour of the campus and facilities. This gives pupils the chance to experience what it’s really like to be a student at LMC.
Joining Classes and Interactive Workshops
