Continuous Investment
Lancaster and Morecambe College has continuously invested in our site to provide students with the facilities they need to gain real work experience and obtain the skills and qualifications they need to go on to university or gain employment in their chosen sector.
This year is one of the most exciting yet, with many changes and improvements happening around campus to improve your learning and social experiences.
One of the biggest changes you’ll see is that building work has been completed on the brand new £1.5 million development to create a new fitness suite and synthetic pitches, adding to our already outstanding sporting facilities. These are open to all students, staff and the public, with amazing deals for use of the state-ofthe- art facilities.
We have also invested over £600,000 this year in equipment, IT and accommodation improvements to ensure that our new and returning students have the resources and environment they need to achieve their potential.
Plus, in one of the most exciting developments the College has seen, we have appointed Ansell and Bailey Architects to undertake master planning of the College site, designing a new and exciting campus to be developed over the next three years.
