How to find Morecambe Learning Centre - Lancaster and Morecambe College

By car from J34 M6 and North of Lancaster

Leave M6 at J34
Follow A683 to LANCASTER (along Caton Road) for one mile then onto the one-way system (right hand lane)
With Comet & Curry's on the left, stay in the right hand lane and follow signs to Morecambe over Greyhound Bridge
Moving to the left hand lane as you go over the bridge follow signs to Morecambe, (the College should also be signposted from here.)
Continue along Morecambe Road for 2 miles
Straight on over the first roundabout
Straight over the second roundabout (you have now passed College Main Site on your right)
Straight over the next roundabout (Shrimp roundabout) which has a sign saying welcome to Morecambe on it. As you progress round it, keep in the left lane and head onto Lancaster road.
Continue along Lancaster Road past the football ground (Morecambe FC) until you reach the one way system in Morecambe.
When you reach the one way system, keep in the right hand lane, and as you approach the pedestrian precinct the Learning Centre is ahead of you.
The road will turn to the right as you can't drive into the pedestrian precint, there is a car park on your right, and from the car park you can see the sign on the back of the Learning Centre.

By car from J33 M6 and South of Lancaster

Leave M6 Northbound at J33
Continue along A6 through Galgate village then passing Lancaster University on your right.
Continue along A6 through to Scotforth where you will pass a Texaco petrol station on your left. Continue over traffic lights with Booths Supermarket on your right.
Continue along A6 going straight over roundabout (taking second 2nd exit South Road)
Follow the road through the City's one way system keeping in the left hand lane.
You will pass Sainsbury's on your left and will follow the road round to the left over Greyhound Bridge to Morecambe.
Continue along Morecambe Road for 2 miles
Straight on over the first roundabout

From Lancaster Train Station (by foot and bus)

Exit the train station's back entrance - past the ticket office - onto Meeting House Lane). If you exit train station's front entrance (past cafe), turn left and left again onto Meeting House Lane.
Walk down the hill to meet the one way system (A6) with Waterstones Bookshop on the corner
Turn left and follow the hill down to the bus station (on your right)
Bus numbers 2, 2a will take you to Euston Road.
When you get off the bus, walk straight ahead of you into the pedestrian shopping area, the Learning Centre is situated on your right as you walk up through the pedestrian zone.
