General information
The BTEC First Diploma in Business is a one year full time practical and work related course. Students learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic work place situations, activities and demands. It introduces learners to particular areas of employment and provides a good basis to go on to a more advanced work related qualification.
Who is the course for?
A BTEC First Diploma in Business is equally suitable for school leavers and mature students who are interested in gaining an understanding of how businesses operate.
What do I need to join the course?
You will need either:
- 3 GCSE’s grade D and 1 GCSE at grade C, including English
- GNVQ Foundation at Merit or above
- NVQ Level 1 in a related field or equivalent
- BTEC Introductory Certificate/Diploma at Pass
