General information
This level 1 course has been designed to provide a work related qualification and to offer you a choice of routes in the health and social care sector. The qualification will provide a preparation for employment or for further study. The course will allow you to develop a range of skills and attitudes essential for success in working life while developing your knowledge relevant to health and social care.
Who is the course for?
This course is aimed at school leavers who wish to follow careers in the health and social care services.
What do I need to join the course?
You must be aged 16-18 years, have a commitment to caring and you will need either: 4 GCSE’s at grades E-G, NVQ Level 1 in a related field, or an appropriate qualification at entry level.
