Introduction
If it’s hands-on, practical experience you’re after, you’ve come to the right place!
If you’re looking to begin a career in electrical installations or fabrication and welding, LMC can give you the practical skills and experience you need to get you started.
You’ll train in our well equipped workshops, with tutors who have worked in the industry, mastering the tools and techniques you need to prepare for the realities of work in this industry.
You’ll learn all aspects of the trade, from customer service and health & safety to technical drawings and practical work, ensuring that, on completion of your course, you are ready to face the world of work.
Students from engineering courses can progress on to further study in their area, including degrees and Level 4 qualifications, or to gain employment in the industry. Former students have gone on to not only work in the industry but also set up and run their own businesses.
Fabrication & Welding Level 2

evidence routes are selected from level 2. All work undertaken is assessed throughout
the duration of the course.
