You’ll gain commercial experience in the award winning Coulson’s Restaurant on campus as well as on work placements and events throughout the year.
The range of Hospitality and Catering courses at LMC will equip you with the skills and knowledge you’ll need to succeed and progress into further study or employment in restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels, spas and holiday resorts around the world.
Last year students were involved with the catering at Chester Races, supporting the North West leg of the National Barista Competition, hosting charity dinners, the Taste of Lancashire Awards and a programme of speciality evenings at the Coulson’s restaurant.
Students from hospitality and catering courses have progressed on to a range of exciting careers including degrees in hospitality management, chef or head chef in restaurants, front of house managers, restaurant staff, sommelier and restaurant owners.
