Specialist courses
Think you can't use a computer
Want to improve your maths or English
Want to learn new skills but can't cope with large classes or stress
Think that nobody will cater for your needs
THINK AGAIN!
Lancaster & Morecambe College's Learning Curve programme (formerly Planning
for Work) offers specialist courses in Numeracy, Literacy and Computer Skills.
We cater for learners whose needs may prevent them from accessing mainstream
courses and traditional learning environments.
Support is available for students with a wide range of needs from those with
visual, hearing or physical impairment to those recovering from a medical condition,
stress or anxiety.
Learning Curve can help you gain new skills to boost your confidence and self
esteem
We will give you the opportunity to work at your own pace in a friendly and
relaxed atmosphere. You will work in small groups through an Individual Learning
Programme designed around your needs, and get all the help and support you
need to achieve your goals.
