Music Students Rock the Hexagon
Live Gig at LMC
On 21 October, the Music Course students performed at a gig in the Hexagon Theatre which was open to students and staff.
Starting at 12.15, the students in various formations of bands performed renditions of such traditional standards as Chuck Berry’s Johnny B Good and Patsy Cline’s Crazy.
The students certainly all enjoyed themselves, whether performing on the Hexagon stage with the College’s superb sound system, or dancing around to the music of their classmates.
Non-music students serially dropped in and out of the gig, accessing the seating provided during their lunchtime break and cheering the bands after each song.
Tutors John Cunningham and Pete French helped the students along by joining in on some of the songs on guitar and keyboards.
We look forward to the next one!
