Over 150 students contributed

Lancaster and Morecambe College held its 4th annual Equality and Diversity day on 3rd December, giving students and staff the chance to find out about current issues in the local community.

Students and staff had the opportunity to visit stands from a number of local organisations including Lancashire Fire Brigade, Disability Forum, LMC Students’ Union, Army Careers, Learning Centre, Traveller Education and Signpost, as well as take part in quizzes to broaden their knowledge of equality and diversity issues.

LMC Equality and Diversity Officer Kay McLaughlin, who organised the event, said “It was so rewarding to see over 150 students contributing to the success of this event, engaging in the diversity of their college.”
