North West Pan-Ability League Tournament
This was the first North West Pan-Ability League Tournament Day (7-a-side), held at Loreto College, Manchester. Loreto College call this Pathways Football, a major project within their sports opportunities, learning support and enrichment departments. Full Details
Students’ Union Visit UCLAN and Birmingham
LMC SU travelled to Preston on 11th August to meet the Students’ Union Executive at the University of Central Lancashire
Also, 7 students from LMC attended the NUS run annual ‘FEstival’ event for all FE students. This year’s event took place on 3rd October. Full Details
Back to Netball
We are now offering netball training for all abilities. Training takes place in the Sports Hall on Tuesday evenings, 7.00-8.00pm. The cost is only £1 per person - wear sports clothing and bring a drink.

MacMillan Coffee Morning
Lancaster and Morecambe College recently held a staff coffee morning as part of the MacMillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. The total raised was £137.
The home baking by various staff members was delicious. There was a raffle with various quality prizes donated by members of staff and a guess the weight of the cake competition. The cake competition had the answer in both imperialand metric and was won by Joe Robinson from Exams. Big thank you to everyone that attended the event.

Saturday Morning Football Coaching
LMC Sport are starting up fun football coaching every Saturday morning on the new 3g pitch. All the sessions are aimed at fun rather than over competitive. We welcome children of all abilities. All our coaches are CRB Enhance checked and all fully qualified.
No need to book, just turn up. All your child will need to bring is shin pads, football boots (no metal studs/blades), suitable clothing and a drink.

For a number of years now the School of Art and Design have played host to pupils from Morecambe Road School on link courses and have during this time produced some excellent designs.
