Represent what students think
Students receive training and support to become a student rep, elected officer and/or student governor. They help to improve the student experience by representing what students think about their course and the college as a whole.
Run student activities
A variety of student-run activities take place throughout the year. Students can organise or help promote events, set up their own, or join existing clubs and societies.
Promote student welfare
The Students’ Union supports students in organising campaigns and awareness-raising events for example, LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual) events that promote equal opportunities.
Access to student discounts
LMC Students’ Union is part of the National Union of Students (NUS). This means, as students, you are represented at a national level and you can get NUS student discount cards. More info
