How To Apply
Applying for a course at Lancaster & Morecambe College couldn't be easier.
Just click the red 'Apply online' button in the bar above.
If you don't want to apply online, you can download the Word version of the application form or call Student Services on 0800 306 306 and we will send you one in the post. For the Word form, you must save it to your PC, complete and then email as an attachment to: admissions@lmc.ac.uk
Complete your details in block capitals (don't worry if you make a mistake or don't understand any of the questions - just call Student Services who will be happy to help.)
Complete the application form and send it to:

LMC will acknowledge receipt of your application by letter within seven working days. If you do not hear from us in this timescale please contact our Admissions Officer on 01524 521305.
You will then be invited for an interview for your first choice course which will give you the chance to discuss the course in detail to make sure it meets your expectations and abilities. If you are under 18 please ask a parent/guardian to come to the interview with you and bring along your last school report or progress file if you have one. If you would like an interview for more than one subject, please indicate this on your application form.
Following your interview you will receive an offer which will either be:
Unconditional - you are guaranteed a place on the specified course, or
Conditional - you are allocated a place on the specified course subject to certain criteria. Those criteria will be detailed on your offer letter and are usually related to you meeting entry qualification requirements.
You must return the slip attached to the offer letter to confirm your acceptance of this offer.
If the tutor does not believe the course is right for you, they will advise you of other courses which may be more suitable for you. Please contact the Admissions office (01524 521305) if you wish us to arrange another interview for you.
If you receive a conditional offer and your exam results do not satisfy the conditions of your offer don't worry. Student Services are here to help you. To discuss your application and decide on the best course of action, just call 0800 306 306.
If at any stage you wish to withdraw your application, please inform the Admissions Officer either in writing at the address above or by calling 01524 521305.
