What do I need to join?
You will need either:
- 4 GCSEs at grades D-G including IT and English
- Level 1 Certificate/Diploma at merit
You must have a commitment to your studies, a proven interest in this area and enthusiasm for the subject.
General information
This work related course includes an element of hands on practical work. You progress by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. It introduces you to the employment area you have chosen and provides a good basis to go on to a more advanced work related qualification.

The course is suitable for school leavers and adults who would like a career in the IT industry or who are progressing from appropriate Level 1 courses.
