What do I need to join?
You will need:
- 4 GCSEs at grades D-G including IT or English
- BTEC Level 1 at Merit in a related subject
- Relevant work experience or related level one or two qualifications
You will also need commitment to study, enthusiasm for the subject/area and have evidence of good skills in practical subjects.
General information
This qualification will develop your knowledge and skills of a range of different software applications suitable for use both in the workplace and domestic environments. It has been designed to provide a route into, or further development of skills in, a wide range of job roles within the dynamic interactive media industry.
Who is this course for?
The course is suitable for school leavers and adults who would like a career in the iMedia industry which could include creative disciplines such as design, games design, sound, video and TV or within the IT industry or who are progressing from appropriate Level 1 courses.
