IT Practitioners BTEC Level 3
Whether you are keen to start a career in the business side of ICT focusing on business support, programming and development or prefer the creative side of the industry focussing on computer games development and interactive media, this range of courses at Lancaster and Morecambe College will help you to understand the uses and capabilities of ICT and how technologies can be utilised to generate income, create efficiencies and provide entertainment services.

Full Time (1 - 2 Year)
What do I need to join?
You will need either:
- 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C including Maths or IT
- BTEC Diploma Level 2 at Merit or above
You must have a commitment to your studies, a proven interest in this area and enthusiasm for the subject.
General information
This is a practical, work related course. You learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. You focus on a particular subject area and develop a range of specialist skills and knowledge.

The course is suitable for school leavers and adults who would like a career in the IT industries or who are progressing from related level 2 programmes.
