I chose this Apprenticeship with Trust Medical because I have always been interested in the medical health care and industry but I was also interested in the business side of the company, so this Apprenticeship was ideal for me.

Is this the first course you have done through LMC?
Yes, this is the first course I have done through the college.

What were the best things about your Apprenticeship?
The best thing for me is that I could work, earn and learn at the same time. It has also provided me with the opportunity to gain a true understanding of what Trust Medical does and how they can help me to progress throughout the company.

Why did you choose your Apprenticeship?
I chose this Apprenticeship with Trust Medical because I have always been interested in the medical health care and industry but I was also interested in the business side of the company, so this Apprenticeship was ideal for me.

Why did you choose Lancaster & Morecambe College?
I chose LMC because it is local, it also came highly recommended to me. I had heard about how successful the apprenticeship scheme has been for others.

What would you say to someone who was thinking about doing this Apprenticeship?
I would say that doing an apprenticeship takes a lot of effort in order to balance your work and the coursework. It takes a lot of dedication and time, but it is definitely worth it in the end.

What has been your biggest accomplishment whilst doing your Apprenticeship?
My biggest accomplishment is actually completing my Apprenticeship as I had a rocky start, however with the help of Val Jones (my assessor) I was able to persevere, complete and pass my Apprenticeship.

What are you doing now?
Now that I have completed my Apprenticeship, I am planning to progress further with Trust Medical Ambulance Service. I am working towards being able to work out on the ambulances, but this would not have been possible without going through the Apprenticeship scheme.
