The AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting is an ideal starting point for anyone wishing to pursue a career in accountancy or finance. The purpose of the course is to offer grounding in the core accounting knowledge and skills needed to progress either to employment or to further study. This course is particularly suitable for adults returning to work after a break or for anyone wishing to change career.

This course is designed for adult learners studying part time as a hobby or to support a change in their career.

What are the entry requirements for the course?

3 GCSEs at grade A*-D OR a Level 1 related qualification PLUS grade C/4 or higher in both maths and English, although relevant employment experience may be taken into consideration.

You will be assessed by an exam/online test.

What qualification will I get?

On completion of this course you will receive an AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting.
