A Customer Service Specialist demonstrates professionalism towards customers and supports the organisation. They have a great deal of knowledge about the organisation’s products and/or services, and act as a point of contact to support customers and colleagues with complex requests, complaints and queries. Customer Service Specialists also analyse customer data, implement changes to improve services and are attentive to various digital technologies.
This Apprenticeship will take 15-18 months to complete, giving you the time necessary to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed in your chosen job role. On completion of this course, you will gain recognition as a Level 3 Customer Service Specialist.
To study this Apprenticeship you must:

Have good interpersonal skills (previous Customer Service experience is ideal)
You must also have 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or higher including Maths and English OR a related Level 2 qualification PLUS grade C/4 or higher in BOTH Maths and English.
In addition to your work based training, we offer a Skills Development Academy to give apprentices the opportunity to gain further knowledge and confidence. This gives you the opportunity to meet other apprentices, socialise on campus and gain additional industry insight from guest speakers.
You will be required to spend 30 hours per week in the workplace and study sessions in College are optional to enhance your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
On-programme learning prepares apprentices for an End Point Assessment featuring a work based project supported by an interview, practical observation with Q&As and a professional discussion supported by a portfolio of evidence. Grade outcomes are fail, pass and distinction, ensuring the candidate is stretched to reach their full potential.
On completion of this course you will receive a Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service.
