This course will develop your knowledge of working in health and social care and children and young people’s settings and prepare you for Level 2 study. You will develop a range of skills and techniques essential for working successfully with children and young people.
This course is designed for 16-18 year old and will be delivered as a study programme which includes math and English where applicable and work experience. The course will include a substantial amount of careers related learning designed to support progression to the suitable next step, this could include educational trips, employability skills and employer encounters such as guest speakers.
This course will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to progress onto the Level 2 in Children’s Play, Learning and Development or the Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
3 GCSEs at grade D-G plus grade 2/F or higher in GCSE maths or English.
