This course is a great way to start your career in the plastering trade. You will develop basic skills in plastering to progress into further studies and work. Most people know part of what’s involved in a plasterer’s work; applying wet finishes to walls, ceilings and dry lining. As a plasterer you will need a good head for heights and good attention to detail. You will also need to ensure that you are physically fit and prepared to work.
This course is designed for 16-18 year old and adult learners the course will include a substantial amount of careers related learning designed to support progression to the suitable next step, this could include educational trips, employability skills and employer encounters such as guest speakers. For 16-18 year old will be delivered as a study programme which includes math and English where applicable and work experience.
Level 2 Plastering or an Apprenticeship.
3 GCSEs at grade D-G/3-1 PLUS grade 2/F or higher in maths or English.
You will need an enthusiasm for the subject and a commitment to study.
