What do I need to join?

3 GCSEs at grade A*-C/9-4 PLUS grade C/4 or higher in both Maths and English. GCSE grade C in Science is also essential.

Applicants must be able to display suitable practical skills to demonstrate they can communicate and interact with people, be able to demonstrate commitment to study through reports from school and must enjoy working with people.

A place on this course is also conditional on receiving a satisfactory DBS check.

General Information

This programme of study is designed for anyone aspiring to be a paramedic or emergency care professional. The course is Health and Social Care based leading to a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (Health Studies) after two years of study.

Course is currently awaiting approval to run.
