What do I need to join?

4 GCSEs at grade D/3 or higher including Maths or English OR a Level 1 related qualification PLUS grade D/3 or higher in Maths or English.

You will need to achieve an overall merit and have tutor recommendation.
Entry criteria will be applied at the discretion of the course manager.

General Information

This is a one year course which is both exciting and challenging. The course combines a mixture of child development and health and social care, as well as units to help you develop essential employability and personal development skills which aim to prepare you to progress to a full Level 3 course.

Who is this course for?

The course is suitable for students progressing from a Level 2 course who need a programme of study to prepare them for a Level 3 course. It is also suitable for school leavers, who have an interest in both child development and health and social care.
