The course provides an ideal way for practitioners to evidence the work that they do, specifically working with complex family situations involving the need to deal with challenging behavioural issues, preventing social exclusion and developing positive relationships with the whole family.
The course will look into theories behind evidence based practice. It will allow candidates to better understand the policies and procedures, as linked to current legislation, and the values and principles for good practice in work with parents.

• Build and maintain relationships with parents
• Understand and use persistent and proactive intervention methods
• Work with families with complex and multiple needs
