Choosing to study Beauty Therapy will give you access to a fantastic range of salon facilities and a team of highly experienced and specialist tutors. Through their extensive knowledge, you will learn how to develop the skills and techniques needed to establish yourself a career in the beauty, make-up or nails industry. As you progress through the qualification levels, you will gain confidence in your skills and knowledge and begin to develop your individual talent as a professional therapist, nail technician or make-up artist.

Zoe Petrou, Head of Beauty Therapy

LMC works with over 50 local salons to offer Apprenticeships to students.

Where does it lead?

Previous students have gone on to work for local salons including Steiner Cruises, Ambience and A Touch of Serenity. Employment prospects include working in salons, spas, health clubs and cruise ships, to self-employment, or as a representative or trainer for brands such as Dermalogica, Clarins or Elemis.

“I did my Level 3 Beauty Therapy course this year and loved every minute. I always learnt something new every day and enjoyed practically doing everything. The tutors were brilliant with us and pushed us to succeed! My experience at Lancaster & Morecambe College was great and I felt welcomed and safe always. Highly recommended.”
