All organisations are businesses, so studying Business as an option allows you flexibility across a variety of sectors, whether that’s fund-raising for a local charity or working abroad for a global blue-chip company. What do I need to join?
To join this course you will need 4 GCSEs at grade A*- D including English PLUS grade C/4 or higher in maths, enthusiasm for the subject, a commitment to your studies (attendance, punctuality & behaviour) and to be able to work independently.
This qualification will prepare 16-19 year olds for junior and entry level accounting roles. It delivers a solid foundation in finance administration, covering areas such as double entry bookkeeping, alongside complementary business and enterprise skills such as marketing.
