Choosing to study in the business department will give you access to an exciting subject that is relevant across all employment sectors. All organisations are businesses, so studying Business as an option allows you flexibility across a variety of sectors, whether that’s fund-raising for a local charity or working abroad for a global blue-chip company. The teaching staff are well qualified with a breadth of experience in a number of industry sectors and students appreciate learning from people who have actually done it as well as teach it.

What do I need to join?
3 GCSEs at grade D or above OR a Level 2 related qualification.
Plus English or maths GCSE at grade D/3 or higher
An ability to work accurately with numbers.
As an Apprentice you really do get the best of both worlds; you will earn a salary and gain real experience in the workplace with your employer as well as working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Apprenticeships are suitable for well-motivated people who are focussed and know which career path they want to follow. They offer high quality work-based training as an alternative to full time study.
This programme is aimed at people who are employed. You will need to be 16 years of age or over.
Who is this course for?
This Apprenticeship is for those wanting a career in finance/accountancy and who would like to complete their studies alongside working in the industry. Candidates can find their own work placement or we will work with you to source an employer to take you on as an Apprentice. You will be working around 30 hours per week with one day each week in College.
