Past students have gone on to university to study various Sports Science, Sports Coaching and Sports Rehabilitation degrees, as well as progressing through our own higher education programmes such as HND Sports Coaching or HND Exercise, Health and Injury Prevention. Career options include professional football, secondary P.E. and post-16 teaching, sports rehabilitation, fitness instruction and personal training. A number of students have also progressed onto sporting scholarships in the USA.

What do I need to join?
You need to be motivated to work towards the skills and qualifications to progress to support progression into an Apprenticeship or employment.
You also need good interpersonal skills, to be punctual and reliable and have to good interpersonal and to present professionally in the work place.
A Traineeship is a work based learning programme tailor made around your needs. It offers the chance to undertake quality work experience in an employment sector of your choice for a minimum of 100 hours. As a successful trainee you will have developed the skills and knowledge to apply for an Apprenticeship and be more skilled and confident to apply for jobs.
You will cover maths and English skills, work preparation skills and have a practical work placement.
Who is this course for?
If you feel that a work based learning programme is for you and are aged 16 to 24 without a full Level 3 qualification, a Traineeship might be for you.
If you have little or no work experience, a Traineeship might be for you.
