What do I need to join?
You will need:
• 64 UCAS Points (new tariff) and 160 points (legacy tariff)
• Grade C/4 or higher in GCSE maths and English
You will also need enthusiasm for the subject with a commitment to study, and show good skills in practical subjects.
The Creative Media Production HND further develops students’ practical skills and project management skills in preparation for a career in the creative media industry. Participants will use professional standard equipment and software to produce a substantial portfolio of media projects with emphasis on student conceptualisation, design and execution from the ground up through to completion.
The course emphasises practical studio production skills whilst further developing a creative and professional approach to media production in a more challenging environment with opportunities for live briefs working with local organisations and businesses.
HND projects are of greater depth and complexity, developing your knowledge and skills and preparing you for a career in the creative media industry.
Who is this course for?
The course is for school (A-Level)/college graduates and adults looking to advance their knowledge of media production techniques with the aim of working in the industry.
While on programme, students will build up a sizeable portfolio of creative media projects, working individually and as part of a team.
