What do I need to join?
4 GCSEs at grade D/3 or higher including Maths or English OR a Level 1 related qualification PLUS grade D/3 or higher in Maths or English

Who is this course for?
This course is for learners who work in, or who want to work in, the children and young people’s workforce in England.
This qualification covers the age range from birth to 19 years and requires you to spend time in a real work environment. It confirms competence under supervision.
The qualification will allow you to develop technical skills and knowledge and understanding related to the specified job roles and develop your own personal growth and engagement in learning.

Rising Stars Nursery is dedicated to providing a quality Early Childhood Education experience for children in a loving, stimulating and secure environment, with the aid and guidance of qualified, experienced, caring teachers and support staff.
Rising Stars Nursery has had a long association with Lancaster and Morecambe College and has taken on apprentices through the College’s recruitment and matching service. Expert assessors support the Apprentices to achieve their qualification in the workplace and develop the skills and qualities to be excellent staff for Rising Stars.
Utilising the range of qualifications on offer from the College, Rising Stars have also supported their existing staff to achieve the Level 2 and Level 3 childcare qualifications. They have also developed employees skills further with ITQ and customer service training.
