General Information

On this 12 week course you will develop basic skills in Digital Photography, basic image editing and manipulation using Photoshop, and learn more about your camera's controls. As well as taking your own photographs on a range of themes you will look at other photographers to understand their work. You will build a portfolio of work which demonstrates your practical and technical understanding. You will also learn how to use equipment and techniques safely.

What does the course involve?

You will study the following three units.

• Explore Craft Resources
• Explore Craft Ideas
• Create, present and review final craft item

You will be introduced to a range of ways of working in your chosen craft area and produce a portfolio of experimental practical work. This will include understanding how to use equipment and processes correctly and safely and researching other practitioners work.
