General Information

Learn the basics of welding and become competent to undertake five industry related assessment pieces. You will learn how to safely initiate a weld, set up your equipment, how to use hand-tools and understand the skills required to become a welder.

What does the course involve?

The course is based at Level 1. You will cover all aspects of health and safety related to welding and be required to perform welding operations to a specific standard (BS 4872). This practical unit will be accompanied by relevant theory within the practical sessions.
