Bay Horse Inn - Employer Article

“Having supported apprentices in the past and benefitted from their contributions, we were keen to employ another. The Apprenticeship Evening held by LMC was a perfect event for allowing us to showcase our business and the opportunities to interested students. It was through our attendance at that evening that we recruited our most recent apprentice. He has been an invaluable asset to our business, with his college programme complimenting his day-to-day experience as part of our team. Following the successful completion of his apprenticeship he has stayed with us to further his training and experience making the most of the opportunities at LMC by enrolling on a further course.”

Lancashire & South Cumbria Integrated Care System - Employer Article

‘It is great working with an a partnership which is so proactive in working with employers in the health and social care sector – the apprenticeship team don’t just talk about what needs to happen – they go out there and get it done, anticipating every opportunity to engage with the employers and bring their recruitment needs into local areas to ensure that there is as much engagement with the public as possible. The resulting feedback from employers has been positive with vacancies and volunteering opportunities filled and with raising the profile of the care sector, employers have benefitted from having a visible presence on the high street and getting their message “out there.”

Other partners have been inspired by the positive message, and Kelly continues to provide support by offering her advice to those who will benefit from her experience’.
