Data Quality Administrator
£20,334 - £20,542 per annum

Are you a reliable and flexible worker with excellent attention to detail?
Do you have the computer skills necessary for accurate and efficient data management?
Working in College Information Services, within a supportive team, you will input student, exam and course information ensuring we deliver a high-quality service, liaising with other departments as required and producing data for internal and external stakeholders.
You should hold GCSE’s Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English and have experience of using computerised systems within a work environment.

Job Purpose:
To operate an accurate and effective data management service to all customers within a specific area of responsibility ensuring that the CIS team collectively delivers a high quality accurate and timely service for the College
To assist in the timely production of management information to meet internal and external audit requirements, within data protection regulations.
The post holder will be responsible to the College Information Services Manager, and work effectively and collaboratively with the Information Services team. Annual leave must be taken in consultation with College management and cannot be taken during September.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
Ensure that processes run successfully and efficiently meeting operational, strategic and audit requirements.
Be responsible for the processing and management of all data and information validation in a specific area of responsibility.
Complete data creditability and quality checks to ensure all student, register, exam and course information is accurate and audit compliant.
Liaise with academic and support staff to ensure data is accurately recorded.
Ensure internal/external deadlines and departmental quality standards are met.
Provide support and cover for all aspects of College Information Services.
Provide an excellent customer service to all customers internally and externally.
Take a pro-active role in supporting and guiding other departments to help them use the management information system effectively.
Maintain confidentiality of student data and meet data protection guidelines.
Work with line manager to identify training needs and actively seek out relevant training and development opportunities
Other duties commensurate with the grade of post, including exam invigilation, as required.
