Wellbeing and Counselling Services

At Lancaster & Morecambe College, all students have access to wellbeing and counselling services from charities and agencies across the local area. 

In addition to the below, you can also access the NHS Wellbeing & Mental Health services:

XenZone’s online counselling and emotional wellbeing service, Kooth provides children and young people access to free mental health and wellbeing support.

Young Minds

All texts are answered by trained volunteers, with support from experienced clinical supervisors.

Papyrus Hopeline UK

Advisers provide a safe space to talk through anything happening in your life that could be impacting on your or anyone else’s ability to stay safe.

Childline

Samaritans

You can call The Samaritans anytime, day or night, on 116 123. They also have a variety of contact methods that can be found on their website.

Lancashire Mind are an independent charity, based locally. Their staff, trustees and volunteers are passionate about the mental health of young people.
