Quality Childcare - Treetops Nursery
Rated outstanding by OFSTED and run by an experienced qualified staff team that work in partnership with parents/carers.
Treetops nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework by offering children continuous provision within their environment. This personalised provision allows children to choose their own play based activities and experiences. Qualified nursery staff engage in supporting children's interests and learning styles, staff record children's progress and development, share best practice and collaborate with parents.
The Nursery Day
A nursery day centres on continuous provision, which includes: Sand, water, paint, malleable and table top activities, construction toys, small world, role play & book corner, story time, Topic related planned experiences.
Freeflow experiences both morning and afternoon include a variety of innovative and imaginative experiences e.g. Hoops, bats, balls & bean bags, Pipes, paint brushes, tools & work wear, Bikes, scooters, balancing blocks, chalks. We are currently enhancing the outdoor area and beginning to cultivate a growing area.
We also come up with many impromptu fun and exciting activities which are initiated by the children’s interests.
Outdoor Play Area
Treetops received a grant of £20,000 from Lancashire County Council to develop their outdoor play area, using the trees as a backdrop and using a local landscape company, Treetops outdoor area was transformed into an exciting and challenging environment where children can develop their physical, creative and imaginary talents in all weather conditions.
Outdoor experiences both morning and afternoon include a variety of innovative and imaginative experiences e.g. hoops, bats, balls, bean bags, Pipes, paint brushes, tools & work wear, bikes, scooters, balancing blocks and chalks.
