Having completed both the Level 3 Travel & Tourism and Level 2 Cabin Crew at LMC, Dagan shared her experience of how the courses at College helped her prepare for interview and a career in aviation, adding; “I couldn’t have asked for better tutors at College. I wouldn’t have been as knowledgeable and prepared when going into my training if it wasn’t for their support”.

The students were able to gain a greater understanding of the life and role of cabin crew and ask questions about the recruitment and training processes, as well as tips for interviews.

Amanda Woodhouse, LMC tutor said “I’m so pleased for Dagan, she embraced her two years at LMC studying travel and tourism and then air cabin crew.
Dagan took part in all opportunities that were available as a student here, she took part in two weeks work experience in Italy. She was also offered employment as a result of her work placement at Thomas Cook travel agents, Kendal.  Dagan always demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment, this has paid off she has now got her dream job and is thoroughly enjoying it.”

The Travel & Tourism department at LMC have had a number of students who have progressed into a career working with Jet 2 and other notable airlines and the opportunity to hear from industry professionals is invaluable. To find out more about course at College, click HERE
