Tom Louis Mulliner
School attended: Morecambe Community High School (now Morecambe Bay Academy)
What do you hope to do after college?
After college I hope to continue writing and performing music outside of my hometown and share my experience with other like-minded individuals.
What are the best things about your course?
My tutors and my peers are constantly pushing me to be the best musician I can be. The tutors are always on hand to offer advice when I need it most, whether it’s music related or personal. I’m so thankful to be on a course with other students who are passionate about music as a career, I’ve made some great contacts but more importantly I’ve made many great friends.
Why did you choose your course?
I enjoyed playing the guitar and already performing in multiple bands during high school, so I knew that a career in music was what I wanted to do. I was always keen to expand my musical ability as well as my knowledge of modern music.
Why did you choose Lancaster & Morecambe College?
It was recommended by a friend who also had a keen interest in performing/writing music. We already played music together in and around the local area and decided studying at college would open more doors and bring us more opportunities.
What would you say to someone who was thinking about doing the course?
I can’t recommend the course enough, the freedom in college is a perfect environment for working.
What has been your biggest accomplishment whilst studying at LMC?
My biggest accomplishment by far is the people I’ve met and the things I’ve achieved with them, whether it’s creating music or performing live.
