Course taken: Level 2 Vehicle Fitting Operations
School: Wennington Hall School
Is this the first course you have done at LMC?
The first course I did at LMC was Level 1 Joinery but this year I have decided to try and become skilled at vehicle fitting.
What are the best things about your course?
It was going into the workshop and being able to work on cars and learn about them at the same time, I have really enjoyed this course.
Why did you choose your course?
After last year I decided to change course. I wanted to learn about vehicles and how to fix them, as I think it’s a good skill to learn to get into employment.
Why did you choose Lancaster & Morecambe College?
LMC has lots of courses to choose from which opens doors to a lot of further opportunities.
What would you say to someone who was thinking about doing the course?
I would tell them to go for it because they will really enjoy this course if they like working on cars. Also it’s good for them to try something new.
What has been your biggest accomplishment whilst studying at LMC?
Learning key life skills that will get you far in life and will help in everyday situations.
What do you hope to do when you’ve completed this course?
Hopefully I will be working as a mechanic or as a joiner.
