The Beauty Therapy Level 2 Apprenticeship will allow you to work in the ever-expanding Beauty Therapy industry, whilst achieving a challenging and rewarding qualification. This course is completed in College one day per week, and in a salon for the remaining four days per week; hours and times will be agreed with the employer and the College.
You must complete 20% off the job training during the one day in College per week to develop your skills, knowledge and behaviours to be a successful Beauty Therapist.
The course includes both theory and practical based delivery and assessment, and you will also be required to create a portfolio of evidence.
In addition to training in College and the workplace, you can also access additional training such as Eve Taylor, brow lamination, lash extensions, ear piercing and skin tanning.
The Beauty Therapy Level 2 Apprenticeship includes the following units:
Provide waxing treatments
Provide hand and nail treatments
Porvide facial treatments
Provide eyelash and eyebrow treatments
Provide make-up application
Provide basic massage treatments
You will attend College one day a week and work in a salon for four days, with the hours and times agreed with your employer and the College. As part of your time in the workplace, you will be required to complete 20% off the job training, helping you to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours to be a successful Beauty Therapist.

Have good interpersonal skills
You must also have 4 GCSEs at grade D/3 or higher including English or Maths.
