Support to help Lancashire-based business go green:

Lancaster & Morecambe College has teamed up with Green Small Business to offer fully funded opportunities for SMEs to get environmental advice and certification. Businesses in the Lancaster and Morecambe district are eligible to access this package of environmental advice.

The benefits:

  • Reduce your use of energy, resources and production of waste to improve your environmental performance.
  • A great way to provide evidence of your green credentials. Showcasing your environmentally friendly practices can allow you to build a reputation as a sustainable business.
  • Save money through understanding your usage of energy, water, waste disposal and how your raw materials are sourced.

Getting environmental certification is a becoming increasingly sought after by both customers and employees, and is often needed for contracts and grant applications. This is a great opportunity to work with a specialist to understand the environmental impacts of your business.
