The course tutors were incredibly supportive during the application process and it was amazing to have them on my side, especially with Amanda having that cabin crew experience herself.
The best bit about the course was working with the animals, some of the animals that we worked with were rabbits, rats, spiders, fish, hamsters and even chinchillas. They have many animals that you can work with, and you won't be working with the same animals every practical lesson.
I would say that if you are interested in a creative job but are unsure which direction to take, the Art & Design courses at Lancaster & Morecambe College can offer you the guidance and skills to help you make that decision and take the next step.
I would recommend doing a hairdressing course at LMC, I learnt so many skills over the time I attended that I can carry through my career as a hair stylist.
As I love being practical, I initially enroled onto the Mechanical Engineering Level 3 course in my first year, but then decided it wasn't for me. I changed to my current course Esports Level 3, as I wanted to turn my hobby into a profession. I particularly enjoy the Business Entrepreneurial and Health units, but an amazing add-on is the ability to play and compete in Esports games.
With an Apprenticeship, you are learning all the time. It gives you fantastic experience in the working world and the hands-on training gives you a real chance to put your skills into practice. An Apprenticeship really helps you to gain confidence in a working environment.
