Lancaster & Morecambe College (LMC) have joined with partner colleges from across the region to offer a range of higher-level technical courses, as part of the Lancashire and Cumbria Institute of Technology (IoT).

The Lancashire and Cumbria Institute of Technology (IoT) is a partnership of leading colleges, universities and employers working together to deliver high-quality technical education aligned to industry needs. 

By co-designing curriculum with employers, the IoT ensures that courses are relevant, up-to-date and focused on the skills required for the jobs of today and the future. 

Through collaboration across the region, it provides students with access to industry-standard facilities, expert teaching and clear progression pathways into skilled employment or higher-level study.
