Overview

As a Training Co-ordinator in the Energy, Engineering & Construction team at Lancaster & Morecambe College, the successful candidate will play a major role in developing apprenticeships in the workplace by facilitating the department’s relationship with employers in the construction industry and related trades, supporting learners to achieve and promoting apprenticeships with new employers. You will work to promote and develop work placement opportunities with employers for full-time learners. Overview

Lancaster & Morecambe College are looking for individuals with previous experience of supporting people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in an educational setting. You will possess good IT skills and GCSE Maths and English or equivalent, along with a desire to enable students inside and outside the classroom and promote inclusive learning. You may also hold a Level 2 Certificate in Learning Support and/or be prepared to undertake ongoing CPD to develop your practice.
