Overview

Overview

Lancaster & Morecambe College is seeking an organised career information Advice & Guidance Co-ordinator to join the Learner Support Services team. You will provide advice and guidance to current and prospective students on courses, training, careers, Higher Education and on the sources of funding and support. The role involves close liaison with curriculum teams with your key focus being to have a positive impact upon recruitment, progression and retention rates. Experience of working within a busy environment, providing career information, advice and guidance and dealing with pressurised workloads is essential. Your skills will include excellent communication, including giving presentations, good computer skills and the ability to deal with clients tactfully and sensitively. The responsibilities of this post include evening work and occasional weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given.

The College is seeking to appoint a dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic individual with recent teaching and/or industrial experience in Joinery. Working in a supportive team, you will have experience of working with young people and a keen interest in their development into the profession. Overview

Lancaster & Morecambe College are seeking a Lecturer in Health and Social Care who can deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment, and who will provide an excellent learning experience which ensures high achievement for all students. The main focus of this role will be to teach and assess in nursing / clinically-based subject areas such as physiological disorders and their care; anatomy and physiology; infection prevention and control; mental wellbeing; and human body systems. You will deliver courses from Level 2 to Level 4 in the Health and Social Care team, and act as a course manager to specific groups. The role will also focus on developing Higher Education provision and support engagement with our NHS partnership. You will have relevant recent vocational experience in a nursing or clinical setting and will be teacher qualified or willing to undertake this training.
