T Levels are equivalent to three A Levels. These two-year courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares learners for work.
On this course you will be required to complete 9 weeks work placement within the industry.
This qualification will prepare you for a career in the construction industry, with a focus on electrical installation and maintenance. This 2-year qualification includes an industry placement of 9 weeks (45 days).
In year one, you will develop core knowledge of how the construction industry works including:
health and safety,
principles of design
the role of technology and sustainability
In year two, you will choose one of the following specialisms as your focus;
Electrotechnical Engineering
This course involves a substantial industry placement with an external employer. You will complete a 9 week work placement and learn to apply knowledge and develop technical skills in a real-life business workplace.
The content for this qualification was devised by T Level panels consisting of employers and stakeholders in the industry, and has been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses to ensure the content prepares you for the world of work.

Entry requirements – You are recommended to have GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or higher.
To study this course you must have:

commitment to study (attendance, punctuality & behaviour)
be able to work independently
good interpersonal skills
T Levels are one of your options after you’ve finished GCSEs, and are designed for students aged 16-18. (19 year olds cannot apply).
