Our Engagement Pathway is designed to support and progress young people who are at risk of becoming NEET.
Foundation Pathways – Skills Pathway
Our Skills Pathway offers you the chance to take your first steps into college life. On your course you will try lots of different subjects such as catering, hairdressing, sport, childcare, digital technology and media as well as continuing to build on your Maths & English skills.
You will have the chance to develop in confidence, communication and independence whilst starting to make future choices through personalised targets.
This is an entry level programme of study.
Foundation Pathways – Engagement Pathway
Our Engagement Pathway is designed to support and progress young people who are at risk of becoming NEET.
We will work with you to establish a good pattern of attendance, improve your confidence, build your independence and communication skills within this course.
You will be expected to commit to a three-day a week timetable which offers a range of vocational sampling opportunities as well as improving your Maths, English and employability skills.
On successful completion of either the Foundation Pathways – Skills Pathway and the Engagement Pathways you mey be able to :
Progress onto one of our Vocational Pathways at Entry 3 / Level 1.
The entry requirments for both the Foundation Pathways – Skills Pathway and the Engagement Pathways are:
No formal qualifications needed but learners need to be working at Functional Skills Entry2 minimum with an ability to progress to functional skills Entry 3
