The Progression Pathway serves as a bridge to employment or Supported Internship. It provides learners with real work experience to develop the skills and behaviours required to be successful within the workplace. Taught sessions focus on employability and life skills to support the development of confidence and independence as well as the further development of maths and English skills.

Qualifications gained will support progression and prepare learners for their next step which may include employment or Supported Internship.

Progression Routes

The course is aimed at preparing learners to positively progress into employment or supported internship. Learners will have external placement opportunities built into the course in order to real work experience and develop the skills and behaviours required to be successful within the workplace.

Entry Requirements

  • Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to study, with a desire to progress into employment or a Supported Internship.

  • Enjoying working with others and being prepared to undertake a range of work related activities and placements is essential.

  • Learners should show good communication skills and be willing to communicate with a range of personnel both in and outside of College.
