Choosing to study Hospitality and Catering will give you access to a team of expert tutors who have personal experience of working at some of the UK’s top hotels and restaurants. Through their extensive knowledge, you will learn how to develop the skills and techniques needed to make it as a chef in a busy kitchen environment. As you progress through the qualification levels, you will gain confidence in your skills and begin to develop your individual style of cooking.

Career options include becoming a professional chef. restaurant manager or events manager. Past students have gone on to further their careers in some of the country’s finest kitchens and restaurants working alongside world renowned chefs and managers such as Lisa Allen (who herself studied hospitality at LMC), Simon Rogan at L’Enclume and Ian Swainson at The Samling Hotel, Windermere.

What do I need to join?
5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or higher including English and Maths, as well as an enthusiasm for the subject, commitment to study and the ability to work independently
Who is this course for?
Apprenticeships are suitable for school leavers and adults who are over 16, not in full time education and are eligible to work in England. You must have an interest in the subject and an eye for detail.
