"Thanks so much for organising the opportunity in The Arndale Centre recently, it was a very successful experience for us – I spoke to two very likely prospects and several others who took away information. My colleague from The Sandcastle also got good results, and even conducted an interview there and then! There was a genuine interest in the educational opportunities at LMC, and it was fun to interact with members of the public and talk about care work – I felt like we were getting our message out there. "It's great working with an ICP partnership which is so proactive in working with employers in the Health & Social Care sector. The team don’t just talk about what needs to happen, they go out there and get it done! They anticipate every opportunity to engage with the employers and bring their recruitment needs into local areas to ensure that there is as much engagement with the public as possible. The resulting feedback from employers has been positive with vacancies and volunteering opportunities filled. By raising the profile of the care sector, employers have benefitted from having a visible presence on the high street and getting their message 'out there'. There have been great rewards, and due to this, we are rolling out the delivery methods to other ICPs within the Lancs and South Cumbria ICS footprint. Other partners have been inspired by the positive message, and the LMC Business Team continue to provide support by offering advice to those who will benefit from their experience."
